Welcome to Nanomaterial Research Group of Dr. Chun-Hu Chen! Our primary research focuses on the synthesis of various graphene nancomposites, metal oxide nanomaterials, and their application towards clean energy, water splitting, smart devices, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and bio-sensing. Industry-orientated research is also the focus. We are also interested in finding out the underlying mechanisms and interactions existing on these composites. To make contribution to clean energy and sustainable Earth together, we welcome everyone who wanted to collaborate with or join our research team. For more information, please contact us here.

Our Lab had visitor from Dept. Materials Design and Manufacturing, School of Engineering, University of Liverpool. One of the professor that join the visit is Prof. Maulik Patel, his research focus on Nuclear Materials. We pleased to host them and our lab member also done some idea exchange of our research.

中山大學突破量產綠氫關鍵技術

陳軍互指出,研究團隊近期發表第一個鹼性電解海水製氫原型機,尺寸為長70公分,寬60公分,高74公分,可對海水與一般水體進行水電解製氫,最高氫氣產量可達實驗室等級元件的百倍以上,確立了大規模製氫的可行性。

中山大學表示,研究團隊成員包括研究生林璟翔、博士候選人林慧玲及資深技術開發經理劉昀佩等人。此技術長期獲科技部、國家海洋研究院及其他產業單位的研發經費支持,期待更多相關政府單位與產業一起投入研發。

PROF. CHEN WON 2021 OUTSTANDING YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD BY CST

Prof. Chun-Hu Chen has been awarded by the Carbon Society of Taiwan as one of the Outstanding Young Investigators this year. The awarding ceremony happened during the 18th Cross-Strait Conference for Carbon Materials and the 5th Annual Conference of the Carbon Society of Taiwan happened in Jiaoxi Township in Yilan.

COLLABORATIVE WORK SHORTLISTED IN THE FUTURE TECHNOLOGY AWARDS OF MOST!

Our collaborative work with our industry partner Ample Technology, Inc. on a silver paste has been part of the shortlist vying for the Future Technology Award hosted by Taiwan's Ministry of Science and Technology. This silver paste can print very fine circuit lines in microelectronic boards and can be cured quickly using UV light. To know more, please watch the video below.
